String arrangement is written by Remote Strings
String Orchestra Small includes 3 parts: Violin, Viola & Cello. (String Trio). Each part contains 3 tracks to thicken the sound. So, 3 x violins, 3 x violas & 3 x cellos. Plus 3 x sample string groups.
String Orchestra Medium includes 4 parts: Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola & Cello (String Quartet). Each part contains 3 tracks to thicken the sound. So, 6 x violins, 3 x violas & 3 x cellos. Plus 4 x sample string groups.
String Orchestra Large includes 4 parts: Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola & Cello. Each live part contains 5 tracks to thicken the sound. So, 10 x violins, 5 x violas & 5 x cellos. Plus 4 x sample string groups.
String Orchestra X-Large includes 5 parts: Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Cello and Double Bass. Each live part contains 4-6 tracks to thicken the sound. So, 12 x violins, 5 x violas, 5 x cellos & 4 x Double Basses. Plus 5 x sample string groups.
The sample strings will be given to you in audio format. Remote strings have a wide array of string sample libraries. The timbre of these will be mixed and matched to work closely with the live recorded strings.
Remote Strings will write the arrangement for you. The cost will be between £500 – £800 depending on the demands of the track. Your track will be assessed and a quote will be given to you.

You will receive all live instruments individually as mono audio files, in their string groups as stereo audio stems (i.e Violin 1,2 etc) plus a stereo string mix. The sample strings will be given in their string groups as stereo audio stems and also incorporated into the stereo string mix. All audio files, given at 48k / 24bit, will be edited and eq’d before sending.

Please note:
Violin & viola parts are played by a single player.
Layers on each part are played by the same player as the original part.
The arrangement deposit paid here will be between 10% - 20% depending on overall quote given.
